Why I hate the phrase “all walks of life” and you should too

A few months ago, I started noticing how overused the phrase “people from all walks of life” is. At first it was just that, a note to myself that I heard it all the time and it was probably lazy wording, a little cliché. Then I couldn’t stop noticing it and my feelings about the phrase transformed into a full-on vendetta.
