Growing up, I spent a lot of time in other people’s houses. My mom was an interior designer and would take me along with her when she worked on show houses or sometimes even to meet with clients. It probably helped that I was happy to spend hours by myself as long as I had a book to read.

We all wonder how other people live but I suspect I’m more curious…
